This webinar will help participants understand how Certificates of Insurance relate to both the organization's liability insurance program and to contractual insurance requirements.
Participants will walk away with the ability to:
- Describe the primary components of a liability insurance policy
- Identify and interpret the various parts of a Certificate of Insurance (COI)
- Demonstrate how specific portions of a COI and an insurance policy relate to contractual requirements
Doug currently works as an independent consultant providing risk management, quality and claims management consulting services. Prior to that, he served as the VP, Risk & Quality for American Excess Insurance Exchange (AEIX). With broad experience in the fields of insurance, claims, and risk management, Doug served on that organization’s executive leadership team with responsibility for all risk operations, including the development and implementation of customized risk management services for AEIX members as well as strategic planning for annual improvement projects and collaboratives.
